Garrett is our craftsman and fabricating guru. He is passionate about designing and building from scratch and enjoys teaching the students about all aspects of building with your hands.
Jen is a local business owner with an impeccable eye for details. She's been involved in FIRST Robotics for four years and is making the transition to FRC. Her interests include: rock/fossil/shell hunting, playing unique board games (usually requiring component upgrades), vacationing gulf side, Geocaching, being creative, making cool stuff and cheering on her daughters in all they do!
Jenny has mentoring and coaching FIRST robotics FLL, FTC, and FRC for 10 years. Jenny has formed strong bonds with everyone on the team and enjoys mentoring them. She is a 5th grade teacher and has been teaching for 20 years. In her free time she likes to solve puzzles and read.
Kate is a physical education teacher at a local elementary school with 2 years of experience coaching FIRST LEGO League Challenge. Kate has been instrumental in fundraising and grants for our Bemidji FIRST LEGO League organization. Her interests include making lists and reminding Travis what he's supposed to be doing.
Kirk is an Informational Technology Professional at our local school district. He has decades within the field throughout various organizations. His involvement with FRC has also spanned a decade. His interests include electrical wiring, game strategy, unified robotics and running FRC programs.
Travis is the lead in this adventure. He is a digital steam teacher at a local elementary school with 10 years in technology education. His interests include graphic and media creation, 3D printing and design, and running FLL programs for the past four years.
